Wood, aluminum, steel, amplifiers. 14m x 6m installed at Galerie Rachel Haferkamp, Cologne Germany

An interactive sound installation -- high tensile music wire strings are stretched wall to wall, a few millimeters off the floor and every few cm., to cover more than half the gallery. These are amplified via contact and magnetic transducers and small music amplifiers distributed around the edges of the room. The public is invited to walk on the strings, producing individual compositions documenting their passage through the space. It plays the song of the last 20 odd seconds of the past that we each drag behind us step by step through life, and each step disappearing into the past.
