Second in the series of “very small cinemas” in collaboration with Brussels artist Stefan Bohnenberger. The first Romeo y Julieta is quite sinister, featuring an enormous blade: surely the death scene where Juliet stabs herself (“I am thy sheath, rust here and let me die”). Soundtrack: a church bell running forwards and backwards, with some creaky birds and ominous thumping. For this film we filled our box with moonlight and love (so, Act II Scene II the Capulet’s orchard, Juliet on the balcony etc.), with a soundtrack of clinking wineglasses and light footsteps.
